Dana Elaine Owens better known by her stage name Queen Latifah, is an American rapper actress and singer. Queen Latifah is an American rapper, actress and performer. Queen Latifah's parents are Lancelot as well as Rita Owens. Both were police officers. Rita was a Newark New Jersey teacher, who worked in Irvington High School.
