Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy SURESH (born on 17 October 1992) is an acclaimed Indian actor. Keerthy appears in Tamil film and Telugu films and also in a few of Malayalam. She received the National Film Awards' Best Actress award for portraying Savitri as the lead character in the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). She has also received three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar Suresh is actor Menaka G. Suresh's daughter. Her first acting experience began in the mid 2000s. Her first lead role in Geethaanjali (2013 Malayalam). She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). In the year 2015, Keerthy accepted her first film projects that were not in Malayalam and signed up to participate in a variety of Tamil films simultaneously. Even though the film was not a success at the box office, her debut film came from A. L. Vijay's romantic-comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2005), which she starred in alongside Vikramprabhu. Because of her hectic schedule, in 2015 she had no choice but to withdraw from films on which she had already begun making appearances, such as Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye or Deekay's Kavalaivendam. This meant that she was involved in two movies, Rajini Murugan followed by Remo which starred Sivakarthikeyan. Dhanush also played the role of Thodari as Thodari in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. The film has been delayed from 2015 with reports that the film will release after September, 2020 with the name of Janakitho Nenu. Subsequently, the premiere was in the film Nenu Sailaja featuring actress Ram Pothineni. Keerthy was first seen in Bairavaa (directed by Bharathan) opposite actor Vijay. She also appeared in Tamil film Paambhu sattai and Telugu film Nenu Local in 2017.
